Lauren and Mikaela--identical twins living on opposite coasts--blog about the story of life and their adventures in faith.

Time is passing, sliding;
It is still moving on.
You can try to grab it back,
But Time, unyielding, is gone.

Only a second gone;
Only a moment lost.
Only an hour you wasted,
But long will you pay the cost.

A second is endless;
A breath, infinity;
An hour transfigures a life
If you can guard Time wisely.

The greatest things yet said,
The noblest, best things done
Didn’t take sixty minutes:
They only took one.

  3. Hey ladies, I was wondering if you would be interested in writing something about Ina Duley Ogdon and what her words mean to you for my website. Please email me at and let me know. This is for the website to help save her historic home where she wrote the song.

We love comments like we love sunshine and chocolate and chubby babies!
