A couple quick things.. :)
Lauren,...Hello again!!

A couple quick things.. :)

Lauren, you HAVE to read some Douglas Bond - I'm really excited about some of his upcoming releases this summer!!! (www.bondbooks.net) Since you like historical fiction, you will love his books. :)

Also, I noticed my typo in the comment above :) it's "The Way of the Master" not "Then Way of the Master", but you probably already new that!!

The last thing is that being in Germany and not at home, I'm trying to scan my memory of who I have the most books by. Even though they're not all by the same author, the "Leaders in Action" series beats Douglas Bond as I think I have most of them! :) And of course I own the first 12 Elsie Dinsmore books (the old ones) too!! Ha ha... this answer could go on and on...

Blessings on you both!!!

~ Savannah

P.S. Mikaela, I just wanted to let you know that your "Rose From the Brier" post above was a special blessing to me!! I've actually been on much of the same path in my spiritual walk the past few months and your post gave me some much needed encouragement. Thank you!!

I'll be praying for you as we continue to learn of our Savior and endeavor to trust Him wherever He leads - Lots of love!! Thanks for giving me the link!
Shelbi--I'm so glad you enjoyed it! The learning curve for us on videography is steep, but we do enjoy doing it for you all!
Savannah--I completely agree about the book of Isaiah being a jewel--I love it so much, and it is often overlooked! I'm sad to say I have yet to read a book by Douglas Bond, but he has been on my "to-read" list for years! It was fun reading all of your answers!
Lydia--Oh, thank you! Your words of encouragement are sweet and much appreciated! How have you been doing lately?Laurenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01275901948825550198noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-545442826180448050.post-77914286836507483932012-02-29T20:06:15.961-08:002012-02-29T20:06:15.961-08:00I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed watchin...I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed watching this! Thanks SO much for answer...Hi Lauren and Mikaela!!

Thanks SO much for answering my question!!! I LOVED hearing the stories too - that was so funny. :) What a great video - you should do more of them! :)

"Ishmael" is one of my favorite books - I've read it a couple of times!! (I like "Self- Raised" too). So I thought that was fun to hear, Mikaela, that you are reading it right now!! Thank you to both of you for sharing your favorite bible passage/chapter as well. Isaiah 43 has long since been a special favorite of mine (I've actually been discovering this last year just how much of a jewel the ENTIRE book of Isaiah is!) and after watching your video last night I was very much enjoying Deuteronomy 8 in my Bible reading this morning (I'm looking forward to reading 9-11 soon as well). It had been a while since I read those chapters, so it was very good to re-read!!

I thought I'd try and answer a few of your "tag" questions...

1) I'm currently reading "No Surrender!" by G.A. Henty (definitely one of my favorite authors too!) and "Then Way of the Master" by Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron - they are both very good!!

6) - I honestly don't know... personally, I probably own the most by Douglas Bond, but as a family there are too many choices. We do have most of Henty's though too :)

7) Our family has a huge library (several thousand!!), but I have a couple hundred as my own (last time I counted!)

9) Historical Fiction, anything History, and Biographies!!!

10) I can't think of a favorite quote, but my favorite Jane Austen book (and movie!) is Emma definitely!!!

I know I skipped a few questions... I need to think about those other answers (I'm terrible at narrowing down decisions!! :)

Blessings to you both!!!

~ SavannahCochran Familyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00991331026187156800noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-545442826180448050.post-34911317345484844322012-02-28T06:47:13.717-08:002012-02-28T06:47:13.717-08:00Hey Mikaela, I didn't know where to answer you...Hey Mikaela, I didn't know where to answer your question & thought here might be the best option.
