Coz when u r knowledgeable, it means u have the power to make the change. Not exercising it makes everything futile...Sapphirehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11672564333327816895noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-545442826180448050.post-45847748858286254562010-10-29T11:43:53.273-07:002010-10-29T11:43:53.273-07:00Hmmm...good post, Lauren. I was listening to a lecture the other day, and the speaker pointed out that, with all the news available now, we sometimes get the feeling we are doing something for a cause, simply because we're keeping up to date on it. The scary thing is that you're then doing nothing with your information, but you think you are...
Reminds me of James 1:22
"But be hearers of the word, and not doers only, deceiving yourselves."
Obviously, there's a difference between the Bible and "knowledge," but the concept is the same: don't think you're covered just by knowing and hearing, act on it as well.
Wow, long comment! Can you tell I've been thinking about this quite a bit, too? :)SarahJaynehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11781265255637468022noreply@blogger.com
